** SPECIAL THANK YOU from the  WATSON FAMILY (fundraiser by CWB for their daughter who recently lost her battle with cancer)…

Since we have no way of knowing the names of all the band fans involved, we trust you will accept this global “thank you.”
There are no words sufficient to express our gratitude for the kindness recently shown by the Craig Woolard Band and fans for our daughter, Gina.

I must say …I’ve known this man for at least 20 yrs or better and I can attest to the fact that Craig Woolard is the ultimate entertainer in the business today. He can please any crowd from toddler all the way up to 100 and his upbeat style and his friendly demeaner makes it no wonder why he is such an appeal to the crowd. He also surrounds himself with other topnotch performers in his organization…Andy on Keyboards, Craig on Bass, Kieth on trumpet, Don on Guitar, Jeppy on trombone, and Adam on drums…..and with all of their musical talent and ability …they can perform any style of music out there for everyones listening enjoyment …..Ive talked to other musicians and bands up and down the east coast….and they have always told me Craig is the man…..that is a pretty good testamonial when not only we the people praise and Craig and his group, but then also his peers. And personally …I see him every chance I get and hope he doesnt mind. This group is a must see….do whatever it takes to catch one of his performances…

    Dear Craig,
One of my dearest friends and probably one of your biggest fans passed today in Greenville……We are in the process of planning his memorial which includes Beach music with a very heavy dose of the CWB….If you ever want to mention a true fan ……just mention JOHN CARSON ……He was a good guy …….

CWB put on a great performance at NorthHill Mall in Raleigh last night. The crowd did not want the band to stop. We throughly enjoyed his son singing several songs, what talent. He is definitely a chip off the old block. We all appreciated CWB playing an extra 30 minutes. We are now diehard fans and are planning on seeing them again at Duck in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday night. Thanks again for a wonderful night of entertainment.
    We love your music!!!!!

Hi Craig, Just saw you guys in Hillsville, Va. on Sat. night. It just gets better and better. We appreciate the effort the band puts forth. I can describe it in 2 words: ENDLESS ENERGY!! We were so pleased to see Jeppy with you, I have followed him for about 31 years and he is a great musician and well as a great person with that perpetual smile. Your Christian faith and acknowledgement of God is a big plus. Keep up the good work, we love all of you and we’ll see you on the dance floor.

  • Dave Vieser

We saw the band in person July 1st at the Peninsula Yacht Club in Cornelius NC. They played a wonderful mix of music and put on a great show. Without a doubt they are one of the best beach bands we have heard since moving down from New York.

  • Dianne Gordon

And Dance We Did. Thank you Craig Woolard Band for a great evening at the Festival of Flowers Beach Dance. What a group. You fellows have it all.

  • Allison McDuffy

    Dear Craig and Band,
Absolutely phenomenal performance at Katie and Geoff’s wedding Saturday nite! We knew you all would get the crowd going, and we were not disappointed. We especially appreciated you learning the groom’s special request song for the first dance, and adding in the fun comments about the couple’s colleges to really personalize the performance. No other band gives it all on the stage like you do. Our wedding guests were coming up to me during the evening to comment on how great you sounded and the rest of the guests were out on the floor dancing!!!! So much fun and exactly what the bride and groom wanted. Many thanks, Allison McDuffy

  • Hey Craig, Congratulations on getting Jeppy White in your band.I just know you guys have a kicking horn section now.. I talked Jeppy this past Sunday @ T-Bones at the Lake, he told me that he joined up with the CWB. Super!! Can’t wait to see you guys sometime soon..Mike Howard.. Lakeside Drive Band.

  • Craig Deal

    Craig and Debbie,
My name is Craig Deal and my wife Robin and i live in Fuquay-Varina. I met Craig shortly before he left the Embers. They were playing at a downtown Raleigh event and I introduced myself during a break. He was so gracious and we talked the whole break (I think we are close to the same age). We all had kids in college then. He took my son Adam’s email address and wrote him. Adam thought that was way cool! I have never forgotten it and have been a huge Craig and CWB fan ever since, seeing them whenever I can. I wonder if you know if Craig’s bass player, Greg Watson gives lessons or would give a few pointers? Here I am 54, learning to play bass and loving it! Seeing Greg’s bio on the website and knowing he was with Craig made me think about contacting him. Does he give his contact information? Many thanks. Continued success to the best beach music band of all time, THE CWB and God Bless your family. Craig

  • How does it feel to be the best?

  • Don Banks

I recently visited the MB area again and missed catching the CWB. It was not the same vacation as when I do see CWB live. Long live beach music and the CWB. Don

  • Dan

As a professional musician from up north, I make sure to take two weeks off every year for SOS so I can catch The Craig Woolard Band at multiple venues. These guys are as talented as they are cordial. Donald, keep that guitar tuned up…you never know when I’m going to show up!
    Take care, all.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery, they say, (whoever they are). But the original is, and always will be, the best!

Outstanding performance in Kannapolis. Thrilled we could be there. Thought it would be a long month before we saw you again. You’re the best!

  • Judie

  • Amy

“HI Craig. My name is Amy and I am the lead singer of The Extraordinaires, Rusty Bunton’s group. I watched your show at the Kannapolis park. Wow, you were such an inspiration to me. You have probably the best male voice I have heard in a long time and you are so great at working the crowd. My fiance was really impressed, especially on the Journey song!!! GREAT JOB! The band was awesome too. KEEP ROCKIN!”

  • Deborah

“Great performance last night in Kanapolis! And as always, thank you so much for your many kindnesses to my Mikayla. You are our family’s HERO, but especially to Mikayla.”

  • Mary

    Craig and gang,
Thanks again for helping to make our event such a success. As always your fine group is
soooooooooo easy to work with and a delight to have here not to mention the GREAT music you provide. You bring in the crowd and help set the bar so high for everyone else who plays here.

I’m looking foward to working with you again soon. I’ll be in touch as soon as I rest a little! LOL

  • GDavid

“Thanks for a great show in Kannapolis last night.”.

  • Lyndsey & Michael

Craig, Debbie, and the Craig Woolard Band,

On behalf of Lyndsey and I, we would like to thank the Craig Woolard Band for an absolutely phenomenal performance at our reception. We were way more than pleased with the event and could not have asked for anything more. We heard compliment after compliment about how great the Band was at the reception. I can honestly say that it was the best wedding reception I have been to – and thank goodness it was mine. Craig did such a great job to personalize the performance and we absolutely loved it. To have that many guests dancing and having a blast at the end of a 6 hour reception is outstanding. I know there were hours of work behind the scenes to format the event and ensure that everything ran smoothly. I would like to send personal thanks to Craig, you, and the entire band from Lyndsey and I. We sincerely appreciate you playing such a great part of our wedding.

Best regards and look forward to seeing you all soon,
    Lyndsey and Michael
